Old Freehand EPS files become Quark EPS "kind" in Jaguar
My old Freehand EPS files (from v.3 through v.8) had their "kind" changed to "QuarkExpress EPS File" in Jaguar (10.2.6) after installing Quark 6. I don't know what their "kind" was before I installed Quark 6. A EPS file saved from v.8 after installing Quark 6 has not been changed. I've figured out how to change the files back to Freehand MX through "Get Info," but would prefer that this type of thing wouldn't happen especially because some of my EPS files have been created from Quark and it's not easy to figure out which ones need to have their "kind" description changed and which ones should not. Why has this happened and how can it be prevented?
Thanks,
Sharon
