Old Freehand files need to be placed or opened in Illustrator 10
I have some archived Freehand 5 files that I would really like to open and use. I switched to Illustrator a long time ago and am running V10 on MAC OSX.
Illustrator will not recognize any of these files. I think they are V5 vintage.
I would consider just sending them to someone to open and "convert" or whatever needs to be done so I can use them.
All suggestions welcomed!

Re: Old Freehand files need to be placed or opened in Illustrator 10
THE NEWER VERSIONS OF FREEHAND ALLOW YOU TO EXPORT FILES AS ILLUSTRATOR FILES. OTHERWISE YOU CAN OPEN A FREEHAND 5 FILE IN ANY NEWER VERSION OF FREEHAND AND SAVE IT AS THE NEWER VERSION. IF YOU NEED THAT DONE I'D BE HAPPY TO HELP.
