Older pdf in New PDF's spot
If I replace PDF's that I created the day before with ones from today within the same folder, the old pdf opens when I click on the new. I'm guessing this has to do with OSX cashes and having PDF play such a vital role within the OS. This is especially frustrating when you try and print an updated pdf and the old one prints out. The problem goes away after re-booting.
Has anybody else seen this?

Re: Older pdf in New PDF's spot
Jenn,
More details. If you really replaced the old pdfs with the new pdfs,
then the old one is gone. There are no caches, unless you are opening
through a browser. I do this sort of thing all day long and never open
what is now a deleted pdf file. I haven't seen the behavior you cite,
since working with Acrobat 1 and now I'm up to Acrobat 7. Something
else is going on. With more details we can help.

Re: Older pdf in New PDF's spot
I don't think ther are any more details to relate. It hapens just that simple.
An earlier file of the same name is deleted and replaced with a newer file and the changes do not update unless I reboot. The files are stored on a windows 2003 server, not locally on the OSX machine. Is that the missing detail?

Re: Older pdf in New PDF's spot
Jenn,
That is much better. Now one more detail. How are the files being
retrieved from the server? If they are being served via http and
downloaded with a web broswer, then there is a cache problem. Every
browser has a slightly different place to clear the cache.
