One more Thing Regarding Checkboxes and insertingdata....

hello,

Having used ASP for a year, i havent got my head round using checkboxes!

What i want to do is...

On an insert data form, a user will enter there email address, next to the
email textbox will be a check box that will say

"Tick if you want to display emaill add to other users"

so if the box has been ticked, when i design a page that queries the data base
those who ticked "YES i want user to view my add" will have it displayed.

Any tutorials, code examples or pointing the the right direction would be
apprieciated.

You need a field in your database that will hold the result of the tick box.
Then set the value of the box to something say "yes", then map it to the
insert behaviour.

To display the output then all you need is a SQL statement that test for a
value of "Yes" in the field matching your checkbox
