Re: One or more files missing...
Try running the uninstaller and downloading (and running) the full
installer.

Re: One or more files missing...
I actually develop 3D games for shockwave.com and I had terrible trouble
getting shockwave to install on a family 32Bit Vista basic laptop. I am
truly shocked how bad the install experience is now!
I eventually did it by 'disabling' the shockwave plugin on the IE browser,
downloading and saving the installer from Adobe.com, 'closing' the browser!
running the installer, opening the browser, re-enabling the plugin on the
browser, then visiting a page with shockwave content and refreshing a few
times. Ignore the seemingly frozen download bar on the white screen it does
seem to be downloading compatibility components or something and on the
third refresh it worked.
This was the only way I could get it to work, as I kept getting missing Xtra
messages among other errors.
Hope this may help (although every system has slightly different problems).
Has Adobe killed shockwave? (I hope not, my new game launches Tuesday!)
Good luck.

Re: One or more files missing...
Hello there... Try re installing an older version. If its says newer version
already installed then go to add remove of your control panel and check if the
previous installation is still showing. Then simple click remove and install
the latest version again after a reboot :) Cheers.
