Online text editor

Hello all. Is there an IE6 compatible (doesn't have to be NS compatible),
Javascript- or Flash-based rich text editor component that can create text
to be put into a database? We need the admin on an educational site to be
able to create some requirement questions, with parts that are underlined,
bold, etc. Using plain textareas and text boxes just doesn't do it. Is there
one that's relatively easy to use and free. That's a lot to ask, but thought
if anyone knows, you folks would. Thanks in advance :)
