Only Wacom tablets for Fireworks 2004???
Dear everyone,
I'm trying extensively Fireworks 2004, since I found already excellent the previous versions and I feel great with this and Freehand Mx in combination!
Unfortunately, I must tell after a lot of tries that the brush tool doesn't support **ANYMORE** in this version my graphic tablet Aiptek HyperPen 12000U. Pen strokes aren't recognized, I tried in all manner, reinstalling and reconfiguring Fireworks 2004 and the tablet, but only if I use the preceeding version of Fireworks, or even using Freehand, all works ok, and **GREAT**.
Even if Wacom are surely the better choice, I'm hoping Macromedia will release a patch for using Aiptek HyperPen series tablets, since I think they are excellent quality products and worked great with Macromedia programs until now.
Thanks for listening.

I search the link and I found I have the latest drivers, V2.28.
With these drivers I can run the Aiptek Hyperpen 12000U with stroke recognition
on the following programs on a WinXp pro:
Macromedia Freehand Mx 11
Macromedia Fireworks Mx 6
Corel Painter 8
Adobe Photoshop 7 Trial
I wrote even the Aiptek support team.>Their tech support is http://www.aiptek.com/support/support.htm .
