    Default Opacity masks, wow!

We've upgraded from an older version of Illustrator to CS, and I'm trippin' on all the new features. Especially the opacity mask, it provides a great Photoshop-like functionality.

    Thanks, Adobe!

Haha! Some of this new stuff is pretty funny. I drew a path and gave it a "Brush" style. Then I went into the 3D window and told it to revolve 360º. Looks like it's going to take a while to compute... will it be a garbled mess, or a work of heartbreaking beauty?

    Opacity masks, wow!

I felt the same way when I first used the feature. I also felt the same way with the realization of how powerful the appearance palette is.

Really! You can even make your garbled mess of heartbreaking beauty fade into transparency.
