Open fullscreen .JPG in new window?
I'm creating a flash-portfolio with images. Because of the portfolio.swf size,
I want the pictures in it to open in a new window, so they're able to go full
screen. The problem is it's going on a CD/DVD, not web. Is there a command to
open a clicked image in the .swf, in the users preset image-viewing program?
Like a simple "open d:/flashportfolio/image.jpg newwindow" kinda thing. I'm on
AS3 btw.
And yes, I'm completely new to Flash, so please keep it simple.
Thanks to anyone who takes time to help me out :)

Re: Open local .jpg in new window
The _blank command only works when your navigating to a new URL. What you're
doing is loading your image into your .swf file. If you want it to open in a
different browser window you will either need to use some sort of javascript or
create an html page with the image in it and navigate to that page on a button
press or something, then setting your target to _blank will work.
