    Default Open to insert html?

I use Contribute to udpate and chage our web page, but I need to add banners
and I can't find anything in the help section about opening up the code or
inserting html. Is their anyway I can do this?

    Hi sclancy1,

If you have administrative rights to your web site in Contribute, then you
can change the settings for your particular role to allow editing in
external applications. This in turn will allow you to edit the code.

To do this Administer your web site, then choose 'Users and Roles', select
the role you would like to edit (i.e. 'Edit Role Settings...'), then choose
'Editing' and finally ensure that 'Allow users to edit web page source in
external application' is ticked. Click 'Ok' until you have saved your
    changes.

If there are other users who use that particular role, then they too will be
able to edit the source in an external application. If this is the case and
you wish to prevent this, then you'll need to create a new role for either
    yourself or for them...
