Open With...
Ok, this has bugged me for a while now. I can't seem to remember when it started... But I think for a long time now.

I get 2 versions of Illustrator in my Open With contextual menu. But they're both point to the same file! And no, I do not have two of the same app on my computer, I've searched. It's weird. Acrobat and Distiller seem to do it too. Photoshop had a whole bunch of ".exe"s that showed up in the open with menu that I simply deleted from the Photoshop package contents. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks.

Try opening a ai file in both.
I think you will find one launches the application in X and the other launches the application in classic.
