OpenGL calls causing sigbus error, OS 10.3 with xCode, please help - Mac Programming

Hi, I'm porting an openGL program to Mac and I've got the program compiling and it starts to run and everything, but when it hits its first openGL function call it crashes with a signal 10 (SIGBUS) error. If I take out the openGL command (it's glEnable I'm using here, but I've tried several other openGL commands in this same spot spot with the same result) it will get past that part of the program fine. So what I'm guessing is happening is that the program thinks these openGL functions are at a certain place when in fact they aren't, ...

Default OpenGL calls causing sigbus error, OS 10.3 with xCode, please help

    Hi,
I'm porting an openGL program to Mac and I've got the program
compiling and it starts to run and everything, but when it hits its
first openGL function call it crashes with a signal 10 (SIGBUS) error.

If I take out the openGL command (it's glEnable I'm using here, but
I've tried several other openGL commands in this same spot spot with
the same result) it will get past that part of the program fine.

So what I'm guessing is happening is that the program thinks these
openGL functions are at a certain place when in fact they aren't, and
its trying to access off-limits memory. This is my fist time doing
Mac programming, so I might be missing an obvious step in the linking
phase. I've included the OpenGL, GLUT, and AGL frameworks from the
System/Libraries/Frameworks folder in the project, and as I said it
gets past the compilation and linking fine. Do I need to adjust some
setting besides adding the frameworks as I have to get it to link to
the dynamic libraries properly? Any help would be soooo appreciated
(and bring more 3D graphics stuff to the mac sooner:])

That usually means that you didn't initialize an OGL context.

You are 100% correct - it didn't bother my Windows version, but the
Mac certainly prefers it! Thank you!
