    Default Opening external file member

Hi, I have a cd-rom with my director projector project and other files
in. How do i direct a link to open these files from the cd? i.e. a
word document on the cd to be opened with a clicked link in projector,
I cannot use buddyapi as the lecturer marking the project will not
have this available on their computer, also when ive tried using buddy
lingo this comes up as a "script error" in projector. Do i need to use
an external cast? if so how can i direct link to open these members in
    their own programs?
    Thanks for any help

    Hi,

BuddyAPI can be used to open files/documents from the CD. To get rid of the
script error when running the projector, you need to include the BuddyAPI xtra
in the projector. To do this, go to Modify>Movie>Xtras, locate and select
BuddyAPI, then check/enable the Include in Projector option. If BuddyAPI is not
in the list, click the Add button, then select BuddyAPI to add it first to the
    list of xtras.

Including the xtra in the projector will also make the projector run properly
even if the xtra is not available on the lecturer's machine, since the xtra is
    now packaged within the projector.
