Opening INX files crashes IDCS2

Since updating to IDCS2 4.0.4, I have been unable to open inx files created in 4.0.3. The files are single page documents with three text boxes containing some text set in an active font. I have gathered that colour management can affect these files so have it turned off. I have deleted the prefs file. (I have also udated to 10.4.8 recently, in case this is relevant.) Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I am running a Dual 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5, with OS X 10.4.8 and 2.5Gb RAM. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. It does not work under a new user, but it does work on another computer. So I guess something has gone wrong with the installation on this computer?

And further to the above: if I open the inx file on the other computer, save it back (as an inx file again) to the original computer, ID will open it. But if I then export it as an inx file, ID will crash on opening it.
