Opening photoshop by double clicking a file?

    Default Opening photoshop by double clicking a file?

    When I double click on a file designated to be opened in Ps, the program
    opens but the picture I have clicked on does not open inside the program. I
    have to do File>open and find the file anyway. Is there a way to fix this?
