Opening Vintage Illustrator files
I am a professional graphic designer with many older (1995 and earlier) Illustrator files in my design archive. I occasionally need to refer back to them. I have always been able to open them in current versions of Illustrator—until now!
Any thoughts on why neither Illustrator 10 or CS will recognize these older files? What was the last version that would? If I load that version, can I update the files so they can be opened in current versions? Thanks for any help.

Re: Opening Vintage Illustrator files
I've been able to open all the way back to AI88 and AI3 with CS. Have you tried trashing preferences?
