OpenType Fonts in PDF
I am new to FreeHand MX. I have it on order and am using the trial version
until the order version comes in. I've run into a problem when I attempt to
export a PDF when the file contains OpenType fonts with PostScript outlines.
Essentially, the fonts fail to export properly, and Acrobat 6 tells me that it
can't extract the fonts. The file exports in Acrobat 3.x version despite the
fact that I chose Acrobat 4.x version on the menu. Has anyone else had this
problem?
If this isn't fixable, then I hope that Macromedia will give me my money back
when I return the unopened product.

Re: OpenType Fonts in PDF
FH's PDF export has quite a few well documented limitations.
I am not sure if it would solve your exact problem but it is much better to
create PDFs by using Distiller either as a virutal printer(PC) or to distill
Postscript files (MAC)
