operating System not supported 6.0 Pro installation

I am trying to install Acrobat 6.0 Pro on a widows 98 SE system which is says is supported and i keep getting the error message Operating system not supported by this installation. help i have to install this ASAP for a client

Read the side of the box again. Windows 98SE is not a supported OS

I think that you may have been confused by the fact that AA6 "Standard" (a stripped down version of "Pro") IS compatible with Windows 98 SE, however , AA6 "Pro" is not. I think this seems foolish & likely you will too, but unfortunately that is how it is. I THINK that the earliest OS which will support AA6 "Pro" is Windows NT (which is what I have).
