Hello, I would like to known if it is possible to implement operator like + += etc like we can do in c++. class object { object& operator+(object p1){} } I fact how can I add for example class object1 { .... } $obj1 = new object1(); $obj2 = new object1(); $obj3 = $obj1 + $obj2; Sincerely Jlg...

    Hello,

    I would like to known if it is possible to implement operator
    like + += etc like we can do in c++.

    class object
    {
    object& operator+(object p1){}
    }

    I fact how can I add for example

    class object1
    {
    ....
    }

    $obj1 = new object1();
    $obj2 = new object1();

    $obj3 = $obj1 + $obj2;

    Do you mean something like:

    $a = 1;
    $b = 1;

    $a += b;
    echo $a; // Result is 2

    Either way, this might help you understand what valid operators there

    No, this:
    $a=1;
    $b=1;
    $a += $b;
    echo $a // Result is "An Elephant", because:

    object1 operator +=(object1& a, object1& b)
    {
    a="An Elephant"; return *this;
    }

    .... I think it's not possible with PHP.
