Hi. I have a very basic question.. ( I think.. )

When I compile my .cpp files with -O5 -c and then link them all with
no optimization switch turned on, will it somehow void the
optimization effect of -O5 on the .cpp files that I just compiled?

When I link with -O5, the linker display errors that didn't exists
with -O3 or no optimization. However, with -O3 option the linker gives
me suggestion to use -qipa since all my files are compiled with -O5
which sets -qipa=2.

I appriciate any help on this regard..!
