Optimization Questions
I have been looking at other web sites in my field that are high up on the
search engines that don't use keywords or descriptions. Is there something new
about optimizing your site now that I have missed? Also I decided to use a
robot html which I copied and pasted to mine but "scrub the web" said it was
not compatible with dreamweaver. Is there a robot html in the dreamweaver
program which can be used? Any good information on optimization for
dreamweaver would be appreciated. :confused; Thanks

Re: Optimization Questions
Well, as to the first part of your question (not sure about the 2nd) its a
known fact that a lot of search engines these days index pages based upon the
content itself. Because meta information can be, and has often been, deceiving
on a lot of web sites.

Re: Optimization Questions
Search engines are also, apparently, using how many other sites link to yours
in an organic way. Meaning NOT in lists of links but that their link to your
site is included in the middle of a sentence or paragraph.
Also, search engines seem to like the h1, h2, etc., tags.
