Oracle SQL emulation ? - MySQL

Hi, It seems i have reading MYSQL 5 could emulate Oracle SQL instructions ? It's true or false ? and where could i found informations on this subject ? Regards Philippe...

    It seems i have reading MYSQL 5 could emulate Oracle SQL instructions ?

    Probably here:

    I wouldn't call their "ORACLE" SQL mode an emulation of Oracle SQL
    instructions. It's just that they've matched a few specific SQL syntax
    features to those used by Oracle. MySQL does not implement many
    functions and features of Oracle.

    If you want a cheap solution that emulates Oracle, take a look at
    Fyracle (Oracle-mode Firebird):

    If you want a cheap solution that is Oracle then download Oracle.
    Various versions are free for personal use, and includes lots of goodies -
    front ends, back ends, and middle ends too.

    It takes a lot more space than mysql.

    Bind variable memory reuse? PL/SQL? Materialized views? Star schema
    optimisation? Which bits?

    Sure you not talking about stuff like data abstraction layers? Google
    ADODB or similar.
