ORDER BY clause - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I am trying to order the values of a table within a "list/menu" field in my page. I would like the default to show the value choice of: "None", and then have the rest of the values be shown when I click the dropdown arrow. The value "None" is one of the values/records in that table. What is the proper ORDER BY clause to choose this value as the default first value to be shown in the page?...

    If you mean a list/select form element, In Dreamweaver, select that form
    element with the mouse, and in the bottom half of the Property Inspector, is
    a tickbox for "initially selected"

    If you don't see that choice in the Property Inspector- make sure it's
    expanded by clicking the little triangle icon on the right-bottom of the
    P.I.

    the code is this:
    <select name="select">
    <option value="none" selected>none</option>
    <option value="1">1</option>
    <option value="2">2</option>
    </select>

    I think he's trying to do it dynamically. Are your options coming from a
    data feed of some kind? Recordset? Datagrid? XML? Etc....

    If so, I always hard code a "**None**" to be at the bottom or a "**Please
    Select**" at the top of the list and use my Loop to fill in the choices.
    Then, I just have a javascript that doesn't allow them to use the first of
    last choice and they MUST pick a valid option. Here's a recent clip....

    <select name="selectVehicle" class="input" id="selectVehicle">
    <option selected="selected">**Please Select** </option>
    <%
    'Show all Federal Funds .
    For X = 1 To UBound(varGetVehicleList)
    Response.Write "<option value='" & varGetVehicleList(X, 0) & "'>" &
    varGetVehicleList(X, 1) & "</option>" & VBLF
    Next %></select>

    See how I hard coded the "Please Select" and fill in the choices dyanically?

    I do pretty much the same as Shane.

    You could add the <-- Please Select --> into the db like that and the
    <-- characters will keep it at the top of the list for you.
