Re: ORiNOCO card WEP and Airport
before my g3 laptop was stolen I also had a Orinico card
i do recall that i could not get encryption to work using the card and
netgear router
I have an Airport card now in an Ibook still using a Netgear router. I
can use 128 bit cypt . . but in the airport window there are several
choices when u click the password.
I had to chose Hex 128 bit over the other choices 128 ASCII, 40 BIT
HEX, 40 ASCII etc
i kinda hit on this by accident
i dont know if your G3 needs something like this. . I do recall having
to use 3rd party airport-like software
hope this help
