    Default OS X + Fireworks 2004 = slow

Has anyone experience this? I use OS X 10.2, dual G4, 1GB RAM. And Fireworks
is just very slow. E.g. opening and closing folders in layers pallete may
    take 5-10 seconds.

    Thanks,
    HS

    HS,

This is a *very* common problem reported by many an OS X user, and MM is
    aware of the situation.

Yup, that's indeed wrong. Knowing whether it happens with all documents
or just one particular document is a necessary detail for others, but
    regardless, it's still wrong.

The team would like to learn how to achieve that state of wrongness. If
you could use the questionnaire linked off the Emerging Issues technote
then that could offer us help in reproducing it, thanks.
