(sorry I didn't reply to the original message, but Google Groups won't
let me reply to this message for some reason, and I don't have another
news reader handy).

I've had this same problem. I only use Freehand every month or so,
but I have installed a few system updates in that timeframe, including
Quicktime 6 and a couple of "security patches". Gulp!

As of today my system has all the latest "software update" patches.
