Go to MacUpdate or similar and search for barcode software. There are some perfectly good free programs. Download them all and find one which suits you.

Crikey, I was doing books in the early '90s with a 978 bar code prefix. First time in my life I've been seventeen years early for something! 8)

Yes, the ISBN 13 starts in January 2007. I'm currently making transitional codes with both the 10 and 13.

I think I'll go with Teacup software: I like the idea of making barcodes right in InD. Barcode Pro is great software, just getting expensive for the little I use it.
