"Out of memory" - Adobe Acrobat Windows

I have plenty of memory (2GB)! I am getting a simple "Out of memory" error (dialog box) when trying to open a PDF (within a browser). According to task manager, I have 1,617kB of RAM free. Any thoughts?...

    That is only 1.5MB RAM - in other words next to nothing.

    What operating system are you using and how much RAM (not hard disk space do you have?)

    Also, can you download the PDF and view it locally?

    Opps typo 1,607 _MB_

    WinXP, 53GB free HD, 1,617MB free RAM.

    Yes, I can view the RDF if I open it via Acrobat. It appears to only do it in the plug-in. And this was after opening about 1/2 doz PDFs. Still in no way did my system ever hit the 30% mark on RAM.

    <Heck I remember when 1,617kB of RAM was a luxury B-)>
