Out-of-Memory Error - Acrobat Professional7.0.8 - But there is plenty of memory?

Has anyone experienced problems running Adobe Acrobat Professional Version 7.0.8 along with Pitstop 6.53? Currently I am running these on 1.8 GHz G5 Mac with OSX Tiger Version 10.4.7 system on it with 1.5 GB of DDR SDRAM on it. 95% of the time when I try to open a PDF in Acrobat Profession 7.0.8 I get the following error: " A drawing error occurred which is probably due to an out-of-memory condition. Try quitting other programs." I am getting this error when ever I just reboot, and Acrobat is the only thing running, and when there are other applications running as well. Even quitting the other applications if they are running does not solve the problem.

According to the Activity Monitor there is any where from 800 Mb to 1.02 Gb of free memory.

I posted this question several days ago on the OSX Users Group, and tried several suggestions, such as changing permissions on the Enfocus Plug-ins folder, Acrobat Plug-ins folder, changed the Privacy Settings on Spot Light to not look into the Enfocus Preferences folder, deleted Preferences, etc. - No Luck yet!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clifford,

I'd try to fix permissions. If that fails try Disk Warrior to see if
you have a directory problem. Directory problems can lead to virtual
memory errors.

You might want to REMOVE all instances of Enfocus Pitstop if possible
via the installer and then re-install ...

The directory for 6.53 is as follows:

(user and workstation preferences might be MOVED out of the following
locations in case you have profiles/actions stored in there)
/Library/Preferences/Enfocus Pitstop/
User/Library/Preferences/Enfocus Pitstop/
