Overlay image quality
I'm currently working on an online game with some overlay buttons on top of the w3d file. I find it quite impossible to control image quality, though. The only format that - almost - works for me is tiff. They dont' pixelate as my png/gif/psd/swf-files do but they are still quite blurred. Does anyone know what to do?
I have seen that it can work on a game like

Does anyone know how to import graphics and make them come out crisp and sharp?

Re: Overlay image quality
Have you tried to set the quality of textures to high ?
texture.quality = #high
And to use only a texture size that is a power of 2 (32 x 32, 64 x 64, 128 x
128 and so on...) ?
Karl.

Re: Overlay image quality
Texture quality was set to high already but the sizing made all the difference! Thank you so much!
Does Director assume that textures are sized this way and then scale them if sized incorrectly hence the blur?

Re: Overlay image quality
Yes, textures are resized if their size is not a power of 2. And with
bilinear interpolation, you get the blur.
