Default Overprint on all the time applied to everything...is this possable??

I am in a situation where 95% of what I do needs to have the overprint option turned on. The 5% where I don't need it on...it wouldn't do any harm to have it on.

Is there any way to have it always on for every stroke and every fill?

    TIA!

    Dean,

I am afraid not. I have just tried changing the setting in the AIPrefs file, but it changes back, just as most of the settings, such as MiterJoin and ButtCap.

Try making a template and keeping an object on the template with the overpirnt fill on.
