    I don't believe it is. Remember that you need to have your users able to
    install it and they need the EM for that anyway.

    Oops, I should have been more descriptive. I still want to package the
    extensions in an mxp file for distribution, but I'm looking for a way to do
    this without using the Extension Manager, per se (I want to automate the
    process). Does the Extension Manager support command line usage?

    I don't know .. have you read through the Extending Dreamweaver section of
    the Help menu of DW? That would probably tell you.

    Out of curiosity, why don't you want to use the EM to package it?

    No, there is no way that I know of, after talking to DW engineers about it.
    The .mxp format is not available. Basically it's a zip file with some added
    information, but that information is unknown.
