Page 401-Classroom in a Book 2.0
I'm trying to learn to create a table of contents in lesson 12, page 401, "InDesign 2.0 Classroom in a Book." It says for Entry Style to select TOC Head 1 and for Chapter Section to select TOC Head 2. I can't find Head 1 or Head 2. Am I doing something wrong or is the book wrong? I've noticed a few errors in the book but have been able to figure out what to do until now. Should I just forget this exercise and try to learn TOC on my own? Thank you.

Re: Page 401-Classroom in a Book 2.0
Teddie,
Actually, you are wrong. Styles in this dialog box are used twice. In the upper part of the dialog box, you are telling the program what styles to look for and include their text in your table of contents you wish to generate. In the lower half of the dialog box, you are using styles to dress up the resulting toc that you are about to generate.
Don't look for "Head 1" or "Head 2" in this lower dialog box. Instead, look to use "TOC Head 1" and "TOC Head 2."
When the program is used to generate a TOC, you are setting it up to look for such-and-such styled text, and then dress it up with another such-and-such a style that controls the look of the TOC.
Clear as mud?

Mike -
I do not see "TOC Head 1" and "TOC Head 2" listed in the upper or lower parts of the dialog box in this lesson. The upper part lists "TOC Chapter Section" and "TOC Recipe Name." The lower part lists "TOC Chapter Section," "TOC Recipe Name" and "TOC body text."
I cannot find "TOC Head 1" and "TOC Head 2" in any lists unless I'm looking in the wrong places.
