Default PAGE ICON - How to Delete Page Nos.

Had difficulty yesterday renumbering pages in book from 1-224. Oleg had the right answer and problem is gone. In the process I inadvertently added another difficulty. Now the page icons begin with No. l below first icon (front cover), then 2 under second icon (inside front cover), and again 1 under the thrid icon and numerically correct all the way to the end of book at page 224. When I try to print first 1 or 2 pages warning says ambiguous number which makes sense. How can I get rid of the first 1 & 2 numbered icons? Thank you very much in advance.

Default Re: PAGE ICON - How to Delete Page Nos.

    Harold,

Pardon me. In my answer to you previous question I forgot to warn you about this consequences.

To avoid this print difficulty you can set any Prefix (for example, A-)for first Section (i.e. for first and second pages - covers).
    For this:
    1) Highlight page 1 (front cover) in the Pages palette.
    2) In Pages palette: "Numbering & Section Options" - Start Section - Start Page Numbering at:1 - Page Numbering Options - Section Prefix:A-.

    OR

You can set another Style of Page Numbers for first Section:
    1) Highlight page 1 (front cover) in the Pages palette.
    2) In Pages palette: "Numbering & Section Options" - Start Section - Start Page Numbering at:1 - Page Numbering Options - Style:I,II,III,IV...

BRIEFLY: all pages in your document must have different numbers (Not ambiguous).
