Page info doesn't print when exporting with all marks from ID

Upgraded to 3.0.1 last week. Up to Monday night all was well. Tuesday morning I attempted to export a PDF from an ID reg marks and all page info. I get a message saying Helvetica Medium outline font missing. Resulting PDF also gives me missing font prompt and where the page info should be are a series of dots. Prints fine out of ID. Making a ps file and distilling works as well. I suspect something in Acrobat Distiller setting may be the cause but I can't figure it out. Ran Font Dr and came up clean. I really purged my library last time I was having trouble. One oddity: a search for Helv shows me Helv Neue Medium but not Helv. Medium. Everything worked as recently as Monday evening. I upgraded to 3.0.1 several days ago. I did sw upgrade Tuesday morning, just a Javascript install, I believe. This is the only machine I have with CS on it. Hate taking the extra step of making a PS file. Any advice?

Exact message is: Helvetica Medium: This font could not be embedded because it is missing its font outline file. Adobe Acrobat requires the outline file to be installed for correct viewing and printing of this file. View additional errors?

Have you added/removed any fonts within your system lately?

This is typical of fonts moving around ...

Try logging in as a NEW ACCOUNT under OSX and then see what you get ...

Happens when logged in under 2nd and 3rd accounts. I'll have to track down this font and install from another machine.

The only thing I did was apple sw update which installed javascript updates.

I can export out of my other 2 workstations fine. What's odd is that if you search for Hel or Med, there is NO Helvetica Medium. There is a Helvetica Neue Medium. Search of all Adobe folders doesn't lead to any of the font folders having any Helveticas at all. Going to reinstall Acrobat again and see what happens. This is the 2nd time this has happened on my dual in the past year. One of those odd things.

I replaced current Helv Neue and Helv folder with clean install. Trashed distiller prefs and in Font Locations, I deleted all the locations and reimported them. Still getting missing outline error. When I check file properties in Acrobat under fonts I get:

Helvetica:
Type: Type 1 (CID)
Encoding: 83pv-RKSJ-H
Actual Font: Unknown

Any advice? I'm going nuts trying to figure this out.

I deleted Acrobat and Distiller and reinstalled. STILL get the same error message about Helv Med outline missing. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?
