    Default Page layout in PDF

Is there a way I can set up the PDF-export so that my 10-page book will print as a foldable booklet? In other words, I'd like to print the spreads on 8.5" X 11" sheets of paper, but I'd like for the page numbering to appear consecutive after the paper has been folded in half. (This seems a little tricky because the book cover would need to appear as the last page in the printout.) Would I need to buy a plug-in for this?

For this kind of booklet you must have an even multiple of four pages. If your cover is in a separate document, then add a blank page 1 before your current first page and a blank page 12 after what will now be page 11.

Then it rather depends on which version of InDesign you're using as to what your options are. There are plug-ins and scripts available.

    Hello,

I'm using acrobat reader 6 and when I try to print as booklet a PDF document to my LAN printer (it's a IBM infoprint 1140)it doesn't works.

This is a feature in the printer driver that I could set in the printer's driver propierties

Homewever, this printer feature works fine when I send print jobs from any other program (i.e. MS-office suite or Lotus Smart Suite).

Thanks in advance for your help about it.
