Page Size Inconsistent

I was setting several computers with Illustrator CS. When I open a particular template with one of them, it doesn't seem to remember the printer or printer settings.

When I try to change the printer settings for that particular computer, I can't seem to set it for the custom page size I need.

I get a message: "The custom page size parameters you have entered are inconsistent. Click OK to let the system automatically resolve the inconsistency, Click Cancel to stay in the dialog and resolve the inconsistency yourself."

Is this some sort of function of a ppd, or what?

Another bizarre printing thing.

I've just put illustrator cs on 3 computers so far. My computer worked perfect.

The second computer has the problem listed above.

The third computer can only print if the print to file file name does not start with a number. (that strikes us as really weird).

We are all using the same .ppd. Windows 2k.

Phil, isn't it so that the printer settings depend only on the printer driver and has nothing to do with AI? AI just takes the available page sizes that the printer driver supplies and uses them for the Page Tiling... If I'm not much mistaken.
