Default Page Tiling Illustrat 10 on Windows doesn't work

When I pull down the view menu when I click on page tiling show.
It doesnt' work all the time. And when I drag the page tiling from the
tool box it can fit nicely onto a page or sometimes it doesn't fit - what
do you think is going on.

When the page tiling is in consistent I always have to drag around
my illustration to fit inconsistent page tiling. I would like the page
tiling to fit in a standard format around a regular 8 1/2 x 11 page.

    Karen,

The area of the page tiling comes from your printer driver. If you target a
different printer or alter the media size for that printer, then the area
shown by the page tiling will also change.
