    Default Pagemaker to Illustrator

I have a project that I created in Pagemaker and I want to bring it into Illustrator CS and maintain as much formatting and fonts, etc. as possible. There are no pictures involved. I have tried cut and paste and I get the information but not the formatting. Does anyone know a good way to accomplish this. Thanks for the help.

    Kent,

PageMaker is designed to produce the end product, not be edited by other programs. It's text handling abilities is far different than that in Illustrator, so styles and text handling will be far different. It would be best to take your Illustrator layout into PageMaker or InDesign for it's final product than the other way around.

    Kent,

2 possibilities, neither of which are guaranteed to be perfect:

    1) Export to PDF from PM and open in Illustrator
    2) Print to an EPS file from PM and open in Illustrator
