Pages look fine in preview mode - images disapear when viewing the page for real
Hi everyone,
I am having a very irritating problem with dreamweaver. I am using the
program to make a webapplication under tomcat. All i want is for my pictures
and stylesheets to link properly!
What happens is, the images show up perfectly when I preview the page. But
if I save the page to the real directory (....webapps/myapp/myPage.jsp) the
page won't show any of the images being stored in the images folder just at
the root of the webapp.
The really annoying thing is though, I know the code for the preview and the
real page are absolutely identical. I know that sounds like an obvious thing
to say, but i just don't get why then the pages would get different results.
I'm not particularly experienced in this sort of area as I'm more of a
programmer, but can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this problem
might occur? I'm sure its going to be something very simple, but I havent
got a clue what it would be as I'm not a developer. I really need to get
this fixed though because I need to show the bosss something soon!
Thanks everyone
Simon
