    Default Pantone 2X colors in Illustrator CS

    I can't find the PMS 2X color in Illustrator CS. Do they not exist anymore?

    Interesting, appently not. You can always rename the color to add 2X to
    the name; the 2X color are not actually different inks, but rather the
    normal Pantone ink that you're specifying printed twice over itself.

    It's not the name I'm worried about, I'd like to get the saturation of color that 2x provides....any thoughts on how to do that?

    This happens at output; the 2X colors are printed twice, thereby giving
    them their extra depth. The difference between Pantone 202 and 202 2X
    on-screen would be negligible at best, and if you're only only looking
    to add depth to the color on-screen (or to a desktop inkjet printer)
    then your best best is to forget about the Pantone colors (which are
    only meant for spot color output anyway) and create custom colors that
    achieve what you're looking for.
