Default Paper Capture will not work on present resolution

I recently scanned a number of pages into P'shop at 300 dpi, then turned them into .pdf's with Acrobat Pro 6.0.1. Somehow my Distiller settings got scrambled and instead of distilling to 300 dpi, I ended up using the default of 600 dpi. As that is not a supported resolution, Paper Capture won't read the text.

Is there a way that does not involve re-Distilling these pages, to downsample them to 300 dpi so Paper Capture will work?

    Regards

Default Re: Paper Capture will not work on present resolution

Distiller won't have increased the resolution. More likely, you
decreased it below 200 dpi so there isn't enough detail to work.
