Default paragraph styles: click=wrong font and color

    Hi

When selecting a paragraph style it makes the text bold and in a color
as opposed to light and black. Same font family, just a bold instead of
light. Light is selected in the formating area.

I have deleted, saved as, and recreated but i keep on getting the same
thing. original Copy is cut and pasted from a word doc saved the text
    format.

Please help, its driving me nuts.

    Hi Nanci,

There are a few things you can try, firstly with the text selected,
'clear overrides' in the paragraph pull down menu on the pallete.
Otherwise, you might have a character style selected. This may be the
default, if so, with nothing selected, you should change the character
    style back to none.

    hope one of these helps.
