    Default param.type issue with Store procedure

    Hi,

    I am getting following error

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e07'
    Operand type clash: nchar is incompatible with image

    When using
    ....
    Set ThumbParam = Server.CreateObject("adodb.parameter")
    ThumbParam.Name = "image_thumb"
    ThumbParam.Type = 128 ' adBinary
    ThumbParam.Value = ThumbFile.Binary
    ThumbParam.Size = ThumbFile.Size
    Command.Parameters.Append ThumbParam
    ....

    The datatype for @image_thumb is image in the SPROC.

    I assume the type parameter is wrong. Where can I find a list of the types.

    Thanks in advance
    Christian

    You may also benefit from my stored procedure code generator available at:

    I'm not sure, but you might have to use AppendChunk to set the parameter's
    value.
