parameters - PHP Development

you get this because it cannot find the field it is looking for. it is looking at the query and saying I don't know what the value for this word is e.g if you type Total payments but the actual name in the table is Totalpayments then you would get the prompt box. Hello Ramon

    I know it's a silly question but you did remember to put in the <? and ?>
    didn't you?

    <html>
    <body>
    <?
    if ($id) {
    echo " Parameter on";
    }else {
    "Parameter off";
    }
    ?>
    </html>
    </body>

    or try this

    <html>
    <body>
    <?
    if (!empty($id)) {
    echo "Parameter On<br>\n";
    } else {
    echo "Parameter Off<br>\n";
    }
    ?>
    </html>
    </body>

    Both those work for me.
