Passing selection to Master Detail Page - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

Hi, I am working on a dynamic page where two dependent dynamic lists are used. The first item is selected causing the second list to display its choices. When the second item is selected from the second list I want the submit button but to pass the item selection to the query on the master detail page. I am struggling with how to make this happen. Am I missing a parameter or is it in the submit button code? Thanks in advance for help Shane...

    Default Passing selection to Master Detail Page

    You mean an onselect event handler on the 2nd cfselect?

    Hi

    try like this:

    <select name="PageItems" class="form-listsel"
    onChange="javascript:submitact();">
    <option value="15">12 PER PAGE</option>
    <option value="25">25 PER PAGE</option>
    </select>

    <Script>
    function submitact()
    {
    doent.prodlistfrm.method="post";
    doent.prodlistfrm.action="mainpage.cfm"
    doent.prodlistfrm.submit();
    }
    </script>

    Hi Dan, yes I am unclear as to how to get the second selection passed over to
    the detail page. I posted my code in another entry today in this forum. Take
    a look at it if you get a chance. Any help would be appreciated.
