password and/or security message on PDFs

    Default password and/or security message on PDFs

    I placed PDFs in a Quark Xpress document and sent them to the printer. They keep getting security and/or password protected messages on some of the PDFs, but security has not been set for these files. Any ideas?

    Any ideas?




    Check security again, resave the PDFs and replace in Quark

    Judy,

    Can you see a padlock at the bottom of the Acrobat screen when a PDF is
    loaded? If so then they are secured ..

    Otherwise, the printers are placing the PDFs into Quark Xpress and
    experiencing an invalid colour-space/OPI problem - if so, very, very,
    dangerous ...
