    Default Pastboard size.

I can't find any information regarding changing the pasteboard size. I'm not sure how to do it or if it can be done. I am copying from a portrait document to a landscape document and the objects will not fit on the pastboard. ID 2.0.2

    Thanks,

Edit > Preferences > Guides and Pasteboard should allow you to change the vertical height of the pasteboard.

    Here's what works for me:

Change your document size to a size big enough to accomodate your new artwork. Then set your ruler guides out far enough to fit the artwork. It's usually the vertical pasteboard dimension that cramps me. Then set your document size back to the original size.

It doesnt exist as I found out when I accidentally pasted in a huge
image. I didnt undo just deleted then found my page was a small
island. Eventually i copied all the contents and styles to a new
document so I could use the scroll bars.
Glad to see its in CS. Must find time to upgrade

Cool. Didn't know that worked. I usually just draw a box then delete it after reducing the document size.

Glad it works for you, graffiti.

IDCS gives you a little more room so I haven't had to use it much lately
