Pasteboard can't be reduced below 100mm

Default Pasteboard can't be reduced below 100mm

My pasteboard has suddenly increased in size to a minimum 100mm top and bottom. I don't know how that happened, and it threw me for some time, until I remembered seeing something about Pasteboard under Preferences. However, when I set the minimum vertical distance to zero I still have a pasteboard 100mm top and bottom. If I type in a minimum vertical distance, it is ADDED to the 100mm. I've just checked my other ID files and the pasteboard is OK.

How do I get the pasteboard small again?

    Thanks for the link Dave.

Of the many suggestions there, this solution worked for me:

    1. Open the document, and Save As a new version (just in case).

    2. Go to File > Document Setup > More Options. Make a change to any of the Width, Height, Bleed or Slug options. Changes to the Bleed or Slug options are probably best as they can't impact on the actual document (I think).

    3. Click OK and the large pasteboard disappears.

    4. Whatever setting you changed, change it back.

    5. Save document.

It appears to me that any change whatsoever in Document Setup (except Number of Pages) fixes whatever it was that gets corrupted and causes the large pasteboard.
