    Default Pasting from Illustrator ////////

Hi guys, I just copy+paste an illustrator logo into InDesign. The logo which i just made had a multiply effect in it. Looks very nice in screen however when I printed in the color laser printe appears as a whole black spot, no logo at all. Does anybody knows what happens when pasting stuff from illustrator that have effects in it? Thanks for any help! Best,

Depends on the graphic and how you had your Illy clipboard prefs set up.
I suspect you'd get far better results saving as AI and placing that
    instead.

Don't copy Illustrator art with effects. Just place them like Robert says.

The copy/paste or drag/drop feature is just to get the simple paths so you could edit them.

Hi Robert and Steve, thanks a lot for the advices! I will try to paste the individual AI file. Sometimes when you have Illu open with many logos or options open is very easy to just drag and drog from it. I did not know it doesnt work ok all the time.
